    Your premise is right, but your price is too low. The Saudis generally have the cheapest oil, and they need $50-$55 not $40.

    One thing that so many fail to consider when mentioning plug-in hybrids is how do we generate the additional electricity required to run such vehicles. The US likely faces an electricity shortage in the next 10 years or so.
