Open Letter to Sirius XM: Take Us Listeners into Consideration [View article]
As a relatively new subscriber I'm having a problem finding pop songs from the 50's. Under the Pops section they have channel 5 "50's On 5" which is mostly rock 'n roll. What I'm looking for are true pop songs from that era, not rock. Some examples would be:
"Orange Colored Sky" Nat King Cole - 1950 "How Much Is That Doggie.." Patti Page - 1953 "Que Sera Sera" Doris Day - 1956 "Let Me Go Lover" Teresa Brewer - 1955
Anyone know what channel I should be listening to to hear non-rock 'n roll pop 50's songs like the above examples?
If the logic to force all satellite radios to include HD technology is accepted then couldn't the same logic be used to force all radios sold in this country to include satellite radio capability?
barryb1248 - The contributions you listed as going to FCC Commissioner Adelstein is actually a list of those who have contributed to Massachusetts Democrat Congressman Edward Markey who is also trying to have the FCC impose strict conditions on the merger. FCC Commissioners are appointed, not elected and don't get political contributions.
