Taleb vs Merton, Cont.

My math ability is childish and my market analysis dismal as proved in 2000 and 2008. Taleb's theory, as he explains it, can be seen in nature, in economies, in family genology in well.... everything. The scary part is Taleb has stated the housing collaspe, which predicated this financial disaster was not a black swan event, that EVERYONE knew there was a housing bobble. The black swan event is still out there, be it bird flu, nuclear war, multiple government instability, asteroid, drug cartels, pourous borders etc.....
My black swan is liver cancer.
