But Gold stopped being a rational store of value with the creation of companies, value is not something you can carry or store, it is something that provides something to somebody else.
Companies come and go but they are the place that value is stored now days and figuring out where the next value companies are is a better use of time than sitting in a cave waiting for some "end times" event that isn't coming.
