Bailout Bill Passes; What Happens Now?
Whether it is inflation or deflation the best defense is to buy gold and/or silver.

Gold is THE place to be for at least the next 2 t 3 years. Get it while it is still relatively inexpensive!

It's a Bull Market in Government Intervention
GOLD and SILVER are going to new highs! This bull market has years to run. It has dwarfed the dow since 2001 and will continue to do so until gold and the dow have a one to one ratio...e.g. dow 5000 - gold 5000!

Stronger Dollar Pushes Down Oil and Gold?
2005 is an excellent example that gold can rise whether rates are being increased or decreased. And, with the bailout of fanny and freddie this weekend, I think gold is going to resume its bull market regardless of the direction of the dollar.

Interesting article and perhaps true for now but I think our "reduced commodity" costs are, at best, temporary.

Dollar's Up, Oil Is Down: But Why?
Dollar is Up, Oil is Down.... Nice article but I'm wondering if it will be true tomorrow [8/11] as Russia continues to attack Georgia all this weekend. Time will tell!

Regarding oil, his opinion makes sense to me in the long term. In the short term, with Russia NOW invading Georgia I wonder what sort of volitility we might expect this week. I sense a trading opportunity!

      Dollar Delight
Nice 8 month chart on the us dollar. Let's see a five year chart! I'll be shocked if this sucker can make it any higher than 78. Gold and the dollar are both consolidating. One will go up and the other down. With the bailout of freddie, fanny, and other financial institutions I know where I'll place my bets. Good luck to all you believers in the FED.
