  • DOJ reportedly set to file civil fraud charges against Citi, Merrill [View news story]

  • Has McDonald's Price Hit A Ceiling? [View article]
Despite all of the hocus-pocus (above), McDonald's will continue to out perform the market, excellent management of product innovation and their ability to bring an excellent % of top line to the bottom line will prevail.

Compare the above comments, by Valuentum, to a 20 year chart~~~obvious.

Long @ $20, since 2003, and adding to the position on a regular basis.

Mediocre management fails again to drag huge increases in top line to the bottom line(location/location... I've held for two years in the hopes of a buy out by true business managers; I've lost faith, I'll lighten up significantly on these faux 'business managers'.

  • 5 Reasons Why Bank Of America Shares Are Poised To Drop Soon [View article]
I appreciate Hawkinvest and his type; even the pros get so much of it wrong. A 45 second glance at the Bollinger Bands surplants all that Hawkinvest said in this piece. If his verbiage, here, drives it a little lower I'll step into a little more.
I started buying MCD in 2003 at about 20 and haven't sold a share yet. It's far and away my largest position and I'm using the same tactics to accumulate BAC; so THANKS Hawkinvest.

  • Bank of America (BAC) has won federal judge's approval for a $2.43B settlement with investors who said the lender hid crucial information when it bought Merrill Lynch in a $50B all-stock deal in September 2008. The settlement, which is among the largest stemming from the global financial crisis, culminated from what the judge referred to as "extraordinarily hard-fought litigation." [View news story]
When Barney & Chris are indicted, then I'll start to worry about being long BAC.

  • McDonald's: A Bearish Bet For Now [View article]
Paying up, only very slightly, for the best segment management known, coupled with a current 3+% yield that has been raised for 36 consecutive years~~~I'll just ride out a correction and probably buy more if there is a dip of any significance.

  • A strike by fast food workers in New York City could have broad implications with the group's lofty goal to see a 107% pay raise up to $15 per hour. What to watch: Though historically the high turnover rate in the QSR industry has kept labor disruptions to a minimum, unions of foodservice workers have strengthened since 2009 and could take a small bite out of the sector's margins. [View news story]
Let them all go; there are plenty of applicants, I believe.
