Ben, great article. Very well written and on the money with your analysis. I own some AAPL and lost quite a bit choosing to forgo the advice. My reasoning is that, like you, I am long term on AAPL and can deal with the fluctuations on a day to day basis in return for capital appreciation over time. Let's be honest though, if I had taken the advice when you first began proposing AAPL would drop at a price of 190 and bought back in today at 146, that would have been some nice capital appreciation too.
