  • Bumper Corn Crop Puts More Pressure on Potash Industry [View article]
Well, spring in the southern hemisphere will be here soon.
They not have the same results as the U.S. so time will tell.

It doesn't seem to me that lately product "need" has anything to do at all with stock prices.
The market seems to be driven by emotions of the investors
and have no scientific methodology at all.

Yeah guys, POTs a great company, it has everything going for it.
The stock should be climbing like a monkey by all the indicators.
    But ya forgot one thing.....
I bought a handful of shares.
That instantly brings down the share price by 40% by the end of the week.

  • World's Breadbasket Creates Record Earnings for the Fertilizers [View article]
Regardless of price, the world has to eat. I don't see the logic
behind commodity prices and fertilizer stock prices.
If the farmer needs a ton of fertilizer he needs a ton of fertilizer,
it doesn't matter (or shouldn't) what the price of corn is.

  • The Agriculture Boom Goes Bust [View article]
High prices won't reduce fertilizer use very long.
If farmers want good yields per acre then they have to fertilze.
They might get away with using less one season but thats about it.
With the population of the planet exploding food will be in demand.
Come to think about it, it already is :)
