Well, spring in the southern hemisphere will be here soon.
They not have the same results as the U.S. so time will tell.

It doesn't seem to me that lately product "need" has anything to do at all with stock prices.
The market seems to be driven by emotions of the investors
and have no scientific methodology at all.

I agree with John, Short term this may be true.
but FOOD is a long term world need that will only grow.
And we all know that stocks are a long term investment.
POT isn't for day traders.

At some point if American farmers do not grow enough to support
Americas needs then Obama will nationalize the farms, And then the government will be buying fertilizer, offset by the amount they produce themselves. :)

yes they're are great company
and have a great product which all the farmers do or will need.

The only problem is, the stock market isn't looking at ANY of that.
POTs stock has dropped like a rock a whopping 74% since october.
And it had nothing to do with valuation.

Well it would appear that the value of POTs stock
has nothing whatsoever to do with company value or holdings
or anything actually related to the company it'self.....

So I'll just keep what I bought in october and hope
to break even about 10 years from now...

Whatever the ethanol industry does, doesn't appear
to affect stocks of POT, CT, TRA ect....

I'm thinking we'll see $1 a share for POT by christmas....
currently down 70% and falling......

Well lets not forget the nationalization of 401Ks that will take place
in the spring of 2009.

According to the Raleigh Journal, Democrats in congress
are investigating ways to confiscate 401Ks and put the money
into the social security administration funds.

If this occurs as I suspect it will, stocks won't be worth the paper
