At some point in time, the amount of corn grown won't have anything to do with price, but with how many people there are in the world. If Obama nationalizes the U.S. farms al bets are off.

Regardless of price, the world has to eat. I don't see the logic behind commodity prices and fertilizer stock prices. If the farmer needs a ton of fertilizer he needs a ton of fertilizer, it doesn't matter (or shouldn't) what the price of corn is.
High prices won't reduce fertilizer use very long. If farmers want good yields per acre then they have to fertilze. They might get away with using less one season but thats about it. With the population of the planet exploding food will be in demand. Come to think about it, it already is :)
