Total college textbook market is approx 7.5bn. If kindle is truly a platform type technology that changes the way consumers interact with published content, then long term potential is huge. Uses extend past consumer, and non professional education, and if this becomes so, than amazon has a game changer in their back pocket, if not, a solid 5% growth product. In any case, one has to be impressed by the innovation here.
