I've never been hurt in a car accident, so I think the people that complain about them are idiots, and I don't think they should have any recourse. *I've* never been in one, so I don't believe the people who say they have been.

It would be nice to see corporations not misrepresent their products and effectively force the first round of purchasers to be conscripted beta testers. I *never* buy the firs wave of any technology, but someone who does has the right to not be mislead by a company.

But, I disagree with the evils of govt regulation -- Enron, banking and credit card abuses, airline failures, etc. -- I'm old enough to remember when these were properly regulated industries. They made their profits, and consumers weren't abused too badly. And about the loses of small investors -- Look at how long it took to help small mortgage holders, and that's a national crisis. Here are two ideas, there are plenty more: How about putting that energy into protecting soldiers who are effectively abandoned by our government when come back from Iraq and can't get proper health care or financial support for their sacrifices. Or fighting credit card companies that, due to loosening of govt regulations, charge default interest rates that were once considered usury; government collusion with industry to tap your phones. Those are real problems that affect real people, not just SIRI investors.
