What's the purpose of Seeking Alpha ?

Is it to study investment strategies?
Is it to pump and dump stocks for daytraders?

Or is it for people with no lives to sit and fester in their own caves of despair? I'm beginning to think it's all of these.

I laugh at you and all who sit here saying "eBay is one of the most despised internet entities..." - by what qualification? As of now whitehouse.gov is also "one of the most despised internet entities..." yet somehow it's not going out of business either, despite the thousands of its "users" who have been defrauded and yes, even killed by its policies.

Good luck, losers. Buy now (to use an eBay term).

Dinah, I see that information in the agreement - but where are is the count of PayPal accountholders you claim are bolting for the exits?

Why do you follow this stock if only to slam what you dislike about the user agreement? Does the word troll sound familiar?

Dinah, please elaborate. How does PayPal place a 6-month hold on an accountholder's funds? Are you talking about the chargeback process?

PayPal did implement changes to hold funds for up to 21 days on high-risk transactions. You can read a good description of it here:

Funds may be held or removed during chargeback, which can be a very lengthy process. Chargebacks are issued by the cardholder's issuing bank, not PayPal. This is covered in the PayPal User Agreement and elaborated in great detail on their website at www.paypal.com/us/cgi-....

In the interest of disclosure, I am a shareholder of eBay. PayPal's growth will outstrip overall eBay revenue and that's the ball shareholders should keep their eye on.
