interesting to note ARTW has earnings call Tuesday and added a 2nd shift to Farm Machinery Manufacturing while DE is announcing layoffs. ARTW is more related to Dairy Industry. ARTW stock is in a downtrend with small short position though active in 100 to 200 share sells. Facts are Dan Palmer will be on conference call head of the Scientific Modular Building Division. Palmer was absent last conference call during height of Ebola Scare.

  • Coffee Holding EPS of $0.78 [View news story]
Strong earnings stronger then expected next restoring Dividend encouraging is increase sales of packaged coffee where the margins are versus low margin green beans. Short position based on sales to GMCR is uncalled for. Going from a loss last year to a P.E. of 8 is extremely favorable. Growth in packaged coffee going forward and China play along with strong position in Hispanic Brands gives JVA momentum in Profit.

  • Arotech higher on new orders [View news story]
significance is some of orders are International moving into Middle East by an Israeli/ U.S. Company proving superior products offered by ARTX. Beaten down on huge short position these orders may prove interesting in long run as International Business is not considered by Shorts. Meanwhile ARTX is consolidating locations and cutting cost while doing Research into Iron Batteries for the Grid etc.

  • Boulder Brands talks beverages [View news story]
BDBD owns Organic and Lactose Free Non Dairy Spread including Olive Oils, Coconut Space. BDBD is in every Grocer including Walmart, Trader Joes, Kroger, Publix, Whole Foods, Earth Fare, Safeway, etc. BDBD also mfers Gluten Free, and non organic spreads. BDBD is leader in space and sku's are deep and well stocked. To say anything negative about sku's is short sighted. With distribution BDBD should put there cash flow into fast growing beverages. To say Fizz is a candidate is 100% off base as they are primarily mfer out of Fla of heavily discounted Fructose Corn Syrup Soda's sold by pallet load to most Grocers. FIZZ is Generic of Soda. With major line being exactly opposite of Organic's BDBD would have No interest in FIZZ. FIZZ did mfer Jones Soda in cans for Walmart. It was a disaster which blew up on Jones. Cost was too prohibitive and Jones took huge losses. FIZZ major product line is not sold in high end Organic Grocers. Chris Reed has stated all along that REED is building Revenue some $40 million plus now to sell. BDBD would be likely candidate. REED recently started national advertising and is spending $500,000 Quarter which would have been Profit. Meanwhile REED is cutting approximately $2 million year in freight cost for 2015. Expansion REED is running some 20% and that is with shipping and manufacturing problems which have been addressed and will REED to keep growing. LBIX the "HAPPY WATER," Company has a low margin sku which is growing in Canada. LBIX is a manufacturer and private labeler like REED. I expected someone to take LBIX out. LBIX is in Juice space and has high end sku's compatible with any Natural/Organic Company.

  • The Timing Looks Good To Overweight Coffee [View article]
sideways JVA would be play which is undervalued on resistance to run-up in coffee futures last quarter. Interesting enough will be 10Q this quarter with futures ignoring drought conditions damage in Brazil which will eventually cut production. With run-up everything in storage that could be sold was. Rains returned how much production was cut? I agree with your report.

  • It Is Time To Sell Rocky Brands Inc. [View article]
Missing Revenue is a questionable statement this quarter. Huge push early in Quarter moved inventory at discounted prices. Though not all SKU's there were huge amounts Durango and fair amount Rocky Western. Georgia closed out higher end welted boots and Rocky Work had limited amounts. Overall Sale was like adding additional week plus of Revenue. I would not count out sales of winter boots as weather has been erratic and cold hit early and pushed Revenue though warm weather returned at Thanksgiving hurting Boot Sales overall. As usual Technology laden items we're dumped as TV's we're rock bottom and war continues in Cell Phones & Tablets. Black Friday is not a typical huge selling weekend for Boot Sales. As cold sets in Rocky should have clean Inventory. Risk factor maybe huge betting against Rocky Brands. Jury is still out on Creative Recreation and hopefully the Inventory of high end Leather Jackets was discounted enough to clear it out. Rocky Brands needs stick to basics where Revenue is strongest. Tractor Supply Nationwide is strong and Rocky Brands has a presence.

  • The Fun Can't Last Forever At Cedar Fair, L.P. [View article]
Reports are already in Mall Traffic up and online sales up with 47% tech in tablets & phones while fixed costs of revenue of cellphones dropping along with Fuel costs. Airline stocks are rising over OPEC looks like your theory is questionable as I look for fuel prices to drop more. Now will consumer drive more to theme parks? WTI touches lows since 2010. Tax on consumer is cooling down. Ebola scare though worse in West Africa with some 5700 deaths has eased considerably in rest World. " GoPro," and competitors will be rage at Theme Parks. Its all about "ACTION," Time to throw in towel on "SHORT!" Have No investment in any "Theme Park" though I reserve right going forward!
