    Rachel,

Methane release from bovine was an SA topic some years ago when the anti Frac movement was getting a toe hold. There was a huge daily emmission from just bovine!! One solution to fossil fuel overproduction you may support is banning all Fracking and Wellhead Production that emits a fugitive emission, beit a bit more than a poot?

    rrsoper,

I find it hard to believe making cheap natural gas available as an option will increase the use of coal for homeowners "wagearners". Having natural gas as an option to heating oil and coal is viable and green. Solar is an option too, agreed.

I reside in rural Texas. The greatest blessing to home electricity and natural gas for heating was the installation of a natural gas fired stand-by generator. It comes on automatically and has saved us from loss in the freezers and green house.

It would be nice to have adequate solar electricity but the sun don't shine 24/7. Solar is a big part of the Oilfield Operations today, supplying power, mainly in the Midstream operations.

The reality rests in having options and natural gas is the cleanest fossil option. Solar is gaining and that is good, but Options are the best!

Addressing condemnation of land. I am thankful for our Interstate Highway System and the Numerous Surface Impoundments for municipal water "Lakes"!!! The greater good must be served, but certainly not without pain. Financial restitution to those condemned is part of the answer and should be doubled, even tripled, whatever the assessment.

  • Beware The 'Frack-log' [View article]
OPEC rig count climbing while Domestic rig count falls.

WTI headed back to the teens, like it did in late 90's, if domestic producers fail to curtail more drilling and certainly fracking. Curtail production and stop accelerating the decline.

Will be interesting to see if NY shoots the other foot by failing to seize this natural gas distribution opportunity. Banning Frac Jobs was the first foot shot.

The bounce today entices me to remain invested on Wallstreet's crap table. The FED likes the smell of new dollar ink and I do to, for the moment. I just read this and thought it fitting to your position on the FED maintaining ease; There is a Chinese saying that goes "Drinking poison to quench the thirst."
