  • Legacy Reserves And Southcross Energy: 2 High-Yielders To Avoid [View article]
    Mr. Stafford,

Is SXE for sale? If not, should they consider selling to a Midstreamer that can secure inlet feed? If they are for sale, who do you think would be interested?

Last question. If they were to sell, would the common stock receive any of the consideration?

    Cheesy,

KMR & EEQ are the only two I am aware of not receiving a 1099Div year end. This assumes you buy and hold. You only have a taxable event when you sell. If held a year or more then Long Term Cap gains on any profit. Great for a taxable account!

    Mr. Miller,

I follow you because you are well informed and constructive, Thanks!

For taxable accounts; what about KMR and EEQ for their dividends paid in shares of stock? Held long enough one could sell as needed and expect a long term capital gain to attain "not too shabby tax-wise"' right?

Those Muni CEFs are hitting on all rights too, right now. That is a monthly pay Tax Free income.

Added to EEQ and KMR. Goldman announced Kinder on their Conviction Buy List today. Speculation has Kinder looking for acquisitions, like MMLP.

Plenty of room to run with more pipelines needed throughout North America. Limited Take Away in the Marcellus Shale Play has wellheads shut in waiting on pipelines.

  • Growth And Total Return Outlook For Kinder Morgan Energy Partners [View article]
Buying more KMR. Pipelines are at or near their MAOP (maximum allowable operating pressure) due to pack from bottlenecks and marketing constraints. Those pipelines laying pipe to increase interconnects with packed systems are the beneficiaries. Kinder Morgan and Enbridge are two savvy companies spending their capital to reap the profits.

Domestic Rig Count rising exacerbating MAOP!
