    A few in your Club had little, even No, impairments. On the other hand the majority reported substantial impairments. Put another way, is Cabot (No impairments reported) that much more frugal and prudent as an Operator versus Devon (booking substantial impairments throughout the period covered)? It leads me to believe investing more with Cabot versus Devon is safer.

    I believe Mr. Smith is referring to the rapidly increasing bankruptcy activity in our domestic Oilpatch. A shotgun shell has many pieces of shot. One of those shot would be painful, but the devistation of all those shot impacting would surely qualify "it needs to be big impact news, and not a quiet one..."?
