What is your best guess on when Line files for Bankruptcy protection? Assume WTI remains in the low 40s the remainder of 2015.

    Mr. Kozel,

Enbridge is approaching 1,000,000 bpd capacity delivering Canadian Crude to domestic markets (imports).

    Mr. Kahn,

Great read, position well established. However, for contingeny's sake, assume Williams is purchased by SE (and JV Partners). Who is next on ETE's list?

  • The Keystone XL Pipeline, Derailed? [View article]
    Mr. Kozel,

The majority of our domestic refiners require heavy crude feeds. Canadian Heavy is (the) major source of domestic refinery feed.

Here is an article published this week regarding the importance of Canadian Heavy Feed Stock:

"Existing refineries were built to process heavier crudes and can only handle so much lighter crude without investment and reconfiguration. That means heavier waterborne imports are still needed – although they are being slowly replaced by heavy crude coming by pipeline from Western Canada."

    http://bit.ly/1WIacKV

That said above, I do speculate the majority of domestic refiners requiring heavy crude feeds will eventually be reconfigured to accommodate the abundant lighter shale oils. The timing of the reconfiguration is another guess. Until then, Canadaian Heavy Crude will be in demand domestically. Mexican Heavy is available to some degree as South American and the OPEC'ers Heavy as well. I hope you agree our Canadian imports should be prioritized over the other Heavys mentioned?

The current administration seems to support OPEC Heavy, along with Solar Panels, over Canadian Heavy evidenced by denying Keystone's completion.

  • Recent Buy - Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. [View article]
    BT,

The list of Bidders has not been released, I am speculating on the possibility Brookfield is a bidder. Williams Assets are the best and only known Deal Cooking.

    Naybob,

Enbridge is one pipeline increasing volumes of Canadian Heavy deliveries to Midwest Refiners. They completed their Capx expansion earlier this year and their most recent Quarterly Results were definitely Up! There are more ways to skin a cat and Enbridge showed that.

I wonder what Trump's position is on Keystone and North American Energy?

    LB,

Are you concerned with the INCREASING Unfunded Liabilities in State Pensions/Retirements (includes Teacher Retirement)?

Active Fund Managers are expressing their concern. I have been reducing my Muni CEF holdings in Funds having more than 10% exposure to Illinois and or 5% exposure to Puerto Rico. Various State Governments have me very concerned owning the CEFs overexposed to this practice of Fiscal Irresponsibility.

Agreed on JV bidders being viable Buyers. SE and P66 are already the owners of general partner for DCP Midstream. Who knows, but will you agree Williams will fetch a premium?

Does one Buyer get all or will there be a partnering of Buyers, splitting Williams assets among the Buyers?

Toll Road Assets in the Marcellus/Utica are those having the highest value! Williams Assetts will fetch a mint. SE has the most to gain from bolting on WMB assets, but can they lever adequately?

  • Are These Oil Dividends Safe? [View article]
What will your stock investment look like in 5 years, 2020? I see a bottom in WTI in 2016. Natty is doing fine, may see a rise in price here first, this Winter.

Panic selling is near. I like the guys that stay with the Rig when the Mud is hitting the crown.

Will the Electric Gen Plants continue buying nat gas? Will the consuming public continue to heat their homes, fuel their cars? I'm averaging in on some Midstreamers as toll collectors from wellhead to Consumer, Plants, Refiners.

I am seeing plenty of data rooms opening on Upstream Wellheads. Rapidly declining Profit is the main reason for opening the Data Rooms. Better know the Plugging Liability (cost) when considering bidding!
