Yongye International: Profiting from China's Agriculture Needs [View article]
Tedster98: This stock has not been "bounced" on Motley Fool even once, as far as I know. At least not on the services I subscribe to, Hidden Gems and Global Gains. The latter service is actually very high on Yongye. That's not a reason to buy, but the company has definitely not received negative reviews from Motley Fool.
A Hedge Fund Staple Just Got Really Ripe [View article]
What a terrible article. Here are a few obvious errors that would have been avoided if the author had done any research on the company:
1. GIGM is not based in Singapore. 2. The stock dropped Friday because one of the main analysts following it significantly decreased earnings estimates. 3. The company is not a pure-play Asian games company. Most of its revenues come from Everest gaming (online poker and online casinos), which are based in Europe, not Asia. 4. Revenue was basically flat last quarter, and is expected to be flat for at least another quarter.
I"m long GIGM and would like people to buy. But not based on terrible information like this article contains.
What is your point? Your attacks on MF Global amount to no more than red herrings and ad hominems. If you have something substantive to say about the business--and can back it up with some factual citation--then say it. But don't argue through innuendo and false implication.

Why Jim Rogers and Robert Shiller Aren't Buying U.S. Stocks Yet [View article]
Is it calculated for individual stocks or only the market as a whole?
Is it calculated for market sectors? (Small cap, etc.?)
Interesting article. Schiller's theory has been widely debated and questioned, but there's no doubt that at high p/e ratios, you incur more risk.
