I really dont understand why Starbucks is getting so much flack for this. They are innovating and accomadting to our weakening economy. Some Starbucks fans may simply not have the time to drive to a store to get coffee and Starbucks is offering an alternative. And while its not that significant, 19 dollars for 24 servings is still cheaper than a lot of customers customized drinks. I dont really think this weakening the brand at all. Its not like Starbucks is selling an entire line of doughnuts or something. They are simply bringing their coffee into their consumers home. Everything else is changing, why shouldnt Starbucks? Those who dont adapt will not survive.
