While "the average Chinese" may not be able to afford any retail Apple products, remember China has a population of over ONE BILLION THREE HUNDRED MILLION (1.3 B) people, and if just the upper 20% of the population can afford to buy Apple products, that's a new market of over 260 million potential customers!

Remember, India is coming along too, with an additional population of over ONE BILLION!
