  • The Price Of Gold Is Headed Much Higher - Here's Why [View article]
I agree ... below are several of the 100's of reasons.

    1. Technical Reason ... Gold looks like has formed a massive 8 month long cup and is in the process of completing the handle configuration. When (not if) GLD goes above the 173 area, chart pattern would project a GLD reaching a value of 196 at a minimum.

    2. Fundamental Reason ... America is a fiscally bankrupt!! Every nation around the world is in a race to see who can devalue their currency the fastest with the sole purpose of trying to keep their economies afloat. If you have not seen this web site, I highly recommend you take a few minutes to watch the video. Web site is: http://demonocracy.info

    3. Moral Reason ... America has offended a Holy, Righteous and Just GOD who is neither a respecter of nations or persons. Consequences of this disobedience and outright rebellion have yet to be experienced.

Isa 54:16 NKJV - "Behold, I have created the blacksmith Who blows the coals in the fire, Who brings forth an instrument for his work; And I have created the spoiler to destroy.

  • Gold Should Go Sideways In 2013, But Hedged Strategy Could Yield 40%-Plus [View article]
Not sure I agree with your title: "Gold Should Go Sideways In 2013"

Here are several of the 100s of reasons I could site that support the case for much higher gold price:

    1. Techinical Reason ... Gold looks like has formed a massive 8 month long cup and is in the process of completing the handle configuration. When (not if) GLD goes above the 173 area, chart pattern would project a GLD reaching a value of 196 at a minimum.

  • 3 Stocks To Buy, 2 Stocks To Sell, What's Next For The Market [View article]
    BrianAndreBoswell,

I agree. What I find really amazing with stocks in general is how they just ebb and flow for no absolute reason at all other than manipulation at the core. Just take a look at AAPL stock ... up to $705 and down to $505 6 weeks later. This kind of behavior regardless of the stock is very indicative of a system that is sick to the core. Manipulated performance data is everywhere.

  • Buy Kinross Gold; Tasiast's Value Not Priced In Shares [View article]
A lot of factual data backs up your title: "Tasiast's Value Not Priced In Shares".

While you are correct, I continue to be perplexed by lack of performance in GDX in general. It is looking like something really corrupt is going on to control the price of gold and silver. Until that corrupt action is unwound and/or exposed, these shares look to be lacking a true catalyst. Maybe the catalyst is found at the following web site:

  • The Top 10 Metals Stocks Loved By The Hedge Fund Industry [View article]
I find it interesting that AUY is not on the radar screen of Hedge funds.

AUY (Yamana) has one of the best risk management, debt-to-equity and cost profiles in the entire industry. They were early to the exploration/efficiency game for existing mining resource and reserve assets. In addition, their purchase of EXTORRE for $0.25 on the dollar was pure genius. Yamana has another ace in the hole ... Agua Rica. While it has not been mentioned over the last 12 months, Yamana's partnership with GG and Glencore-Xstrata is expected to yield 200,000 oz of gold a year not to exceed 2,000,000 ozs. In addition, Glencore-Xstata has a four year option to buy it out. Based on agreement, it is entirely possible that Yamana's stake is worth between $1.5 and $2.0 billion.

For a year now, I have been expecting someone to come along and make an offer for AUY. I find it interesting that the major mining companies found it more interesting to invest Billions in high risk situations in problematic geographical/political environments.

  • The Only Reason To Short Gold [View article]
    Cliff,

Nice job in putting this information together. Blessings.

Not sure that shorting gold is a good idea for any reason. To see why, all reading this comment may want to watch the movie clip that is listed below. America is at a critical point: Americans will either choose to be ruled by GOD (Jehovah-Jireh) or be governed by tyrants. Based on debt picture, it is looking like America has made a choice with no end in sight.

  • Debunking The Myth: The Demise Of The U.S. Dollar [View article]
Yes ... change in reserve currency is a process. By the way, it is a process that is well underway. To wit: Creation of SDRs (Special Drawing Rights) as noted in authors article is alive and well.

    Debt presentation worth watching: http://bit.ly/SOvkPw

"The SDR was created by the IMF in 1969 to support the Bretton Woods fixed exchange rate system. A country participating in this system needed official reserves—government or central bank holdings of gold and widely accepted foreign currencies—that could be used to purchase the domestic currency in foreign exchange markets, as required to maintain its exchange rate. But the international supply of two key reserve assets—gold and the U.S. dollar—proved inadequate for supporting the expansion of world trade and financial development that was taking place. Therefore, the international community decided to create a new international reserve asset under the auspices of the IMF."

  • Apple: Value Play Or Value Trap? [View article]
AAPL has many good products, but stock looks really tired which may be indicative of device saturation. Everyone I know has 2 or more Apple devices and have no plans within the next year to buy anything else. In addition, I get several E-mails daily pushing used Apple products and deep discounted prices. AAPL is near a death cross technically and showing signs of forming a massive head-shoulders pattern which is bearish.

  • Can Gold Get Out Of Its Rut? [View article]
    Gumby,

Let me tell you another item that fits your "go figure!" comment.

Today, Apple Computer (AAPL) is worth more by market capitalization than every precious metals and base metals mining company on the planet. Now that is a fact that fits your 'go figure!' comment.

Can Gold Get Out Of Its Rut? YES!!!!

When? Once people understand how much trouble we are in from a fiscal situation.

Anyone who wants to see why gold is going a lot higher, you need to watch the following video clip (1) and read the following article (2). Note this does not factor in the unfunded liabilities of over 100+ Trillion and 639 Trillion dollars of derivatives currently in play around the globe.

  • Why All That Glitters Is (Yamana) Gold And I'm A Buyer [View article]
AUY one of the best in the sector for many of the reasons you have stated in above article. I am really looking forward to hearing about the two projects expected to come online within the next 60 days. I also am anxious to hear about exploration updates. My expectation is that the news should be pretty good on both counts.

In addition, Agua Rica update that would be positive would add a lot of fuel to the fire and should light up the stock. Maybe Glencore-Xstrata will buy out the project for 1 to 2 Billion dollars. Note that deal Agua Rica deal with Glencore-Xstrata guarantees AUY to get gold from project through Alumbrera up to, but not to exceed, 2,000,000 oz of gold. At today's prices, minus the cost to mine, process and refine, net profit would be at or around $1,200 per ounce. So total net value would be $1,200 x 2,000,000 - 2.4 Billion give or take 5%. I am sure that AUY would take something slightly less. The key is if the Argentine government begins to see the value of the mining project and allow this profitable and beneficial project to proceed quickly forward without any resistance.

  • Which Way Wednesday: Apple's Drag Too Much For Nasdaq To Overcome [View article]
It is amazing the number of jobs tied to AAPL. Probably everyone owns AAPL stock and no one left to buy it. My entire family owns an AAPL product of one type or another. Has AAPL device penetration reached saturation? I continue to get notifications in my E-mail about buying second hand AAPL devices.

A lot of absolutely strange activity going on in the markets ... NAT GAS up with inventories busting at the seams. Nothing really making sense at all.

  • Precarious Spot For The Majors [View article]
Interesting ... Debt projected to increase ... expansion of fed balance sheet must continue to increase due to prior decisions ... China heating up ...etc. End of Gold Bull Market ... not yet because we need a blow off top that has not occurred yet. Something fishy looks to be happening. Based on percentage decline in GDX, armageddon must be right around the corner.
