  • Yahoo Needs To Cut Into Facebook's Mobile Lead [View article]
I agree with most of the article, but didn't learn anything new.

  • Report: Yahoo in talks to buy Foursquare (updated) [View news story]
Paying 50% more than Foursquare was valued last year, but Foursquare is losing market share? Usually declining market share means less value. How do you explain that?

  • The Assault On SeaWorld Continues [View article]
Rather than just focusing on the orcas, how about the dogs and cats that Sea World uses? How many miles a day would they roam in the wild ad how much space do they get at Sea World? Broader yet, there are many, many dogs and cats that get locked into a small apartment, which seems like an injustice. People may get a dog, cut their balls off, and keep them confined to a small little space and make them walk around on a leash. A dog needs to run around and be able to chase other animals. A cat needs to be able to climb a tree and annoy the dog.

  • The Assault On SeaWorld Continues [View article]
I just went to Sea World Orlando a couple of weeks ago. There were no lines for the two very good roller coasters, but the animal/mammal shows were packed. We fed the sting rays, which was pretty cool, but the highlight was definitely the orcas followed by the Dolphins and roller coasters. That orca tank is huge. Without the orcas and dolphins, Sea World has serious issues.

Actually, I think the technicals have gotten much better with a double bottom around $51 per weekly chart. Probably needs to break above 50 day MA to confirm this.

Do you think Putin really believes that Al Gore used to work at the CIA?

  • InvenSense: Don't Fear Short-Term Margins [View article]
Many companies are making a lot of money off Apple. Unfortunately, Apple occasionally picks the wrong vendor and I think that we saw that with GTAT. I wouldn't compare it to INVN in a silo.

  • Michael Kors - Taxiing To The Runway And All Set For Take-Off [View article]
If your fair value price is $76, that doesn't leave you with much space to wait for a small rally before buying. With regards to the stock buyback, I'm for it over a dividend right now, but it really all depends upon where they buy and what the end value is.

Nice analysis. I would also add one reason major reason for the stock plunging: the ex-CFO. I think that the previous CFO did a poor job with guidance, ensuring lean inventories, etc.
I would also add that INVN might be able to raise prices slightly with Apple. They clearly gave Apple rock bottomed pricing the first time, but it could probably keep their business assuming good performance and slightly increase margins for the iPhone 6S.

Interesting comment and makes sense about the money being pulled out due to the Chinese Stock connect.

  • Appealing Valuation And Growth For YY Inc. [View article]
Good article that provided me some additional data that I didn't know. I think some of the more conservative, fundamental based investors stay away from stocks such as YY. This leaves us with more speculative and technical based traders. Thus, I think YY goes up and down more like a YoYo than most. Perceived negative news could turn the trend and once the trend turns, it often needs to be way undervalued to turn again. Personally, I think this is what happened, but time will tell.

  • Investors Shouldn't Give Up On Qihoo 360 [View article]
I think the Technical people and Fundamental ones are battling it out now. It will be a very good sign if $45 holds at end of week.

  • Qihoo Q4 Earnings Preview: Diversification Into Hardware Will Be Key In 2015 [View article]
There were a few things that this article discussed that I did not know -- thanks. I too believe that QIHU is significantly undervalued. You did a nice job emphasizing the importance of security to QIHU, which some writers ignore. I think that enterprise security could be a big market for them. But I wouldn't raise expectations that the enterprise security revenue will be meaningful this quarter just because I'd expect that companies kick the tires of the product first before investing any significant sums of money.

  • It's A Good Time To Accumulate GasLog [View article]
It would be useful to discuss how much excess LNG shipping capacity there is this year and how much that is expected to dissipate next year and in 2017. This should increase utilization and increase pricing.

  • Valeant's Bad Acquisition Of Salix Is Now Supported With Numbers [View article]
As I mentioned in a previous posting, VRX probably knew the extent of the problem before it finalized its offer. The problem should also mostly be resolved by the time the deal closes. Regardless, I sold the Salix shares that I had last week.
