eBay Live Auctions Successor - Able Auctions?
I've only had very good experiences with eBay Live auctioneers. The applet itself is kind of clunky and does not work very well, the timing is always messed up but it does allow you to reach a variety of sellers you would otherwise never hear of. It's also been great for sellers who would otherwise never connect with so many buyers. I'm not sure where the fraud is, but with the antique and collectable sellers I've done business with, it has been very honest and fair. I think it's pretty weak that eBay is backing out of this part if the industry. Shill bidding, bad sellers and fraud are rampant everywhere else on eBay. As for their poor seller ratings, I've noticed that some of the ones I deal with have 96-98%, which is surprising but that may have to do with their commission structures, taxes and shipping fees which some buyers overlook in the fine print.
