  • Walter Energy: Overvalued and Overbought  [View article]
CLF and BTU are the best long term bets...I think this rally has legs eventhough Cramer is going megabull. That in its own right is scary. I'm looking for short strategies when the Euphoria manifests, which won't be long. Good luck to all.

  • Coal - and KOL - Is Red Hot [View article]
The US politicians Al Gore, in particular, are using global warming as a means to line their pockets. Al Gore did not turn his lights off on Earth day, but he has increased his net worth substantially through the climate change cause. Animals emit more carbon than coal plants. The real issue threatening the environment is radiation, which will be enhanced as China and India industrialize. The public can't visualize o-zone disintegration as easily as a smoke cloud from a coal plant, thus liberals can't play the human condition relevant to emotions and irrationality. As for met coal, it fits nicely into the long term growth trend concerning China and India. When credit eases many delayed projects will come back online and stimulus related infrastructure should comence. Markets will be hit by a shortage comparable to the glut caused by the world grinding to a halt.

  • Copper and Resources Lead to Portfolio Outperformance [View article]
I doubt Obama's cap and trade will pan out...too many democrats are being influenced by lobbyists...if Buffett thought O could pull this of, I doubt he would have taken a 27%stake in BNI.
