  • Oi's (OIBR) CEO Zeinal Bava on Q1 2014 Results - Earnings Call Transcript [View article]
I think that the next questions now are, firstly what is the target price for the stock for the end of 2014 and secondly if dividends will be paid this year again by sept/oct? Could you share your views on these subjects?

  • Cameco Management Discusses Q1 2014 Results - Earnings Call Transcript [View article]
Almost everybody was expecting an increase in Uranium demand already in 2014 and consequently rising prices as well.....however things look different now. It looks like it will take a couple of years before the 90 new reactors mentioned in several market studies really start up....and Japan begin to buy large quantities of Uranium again !!! In other words let´s talk about Cameco by 2016/17 at least.

  • Vale... Ya? Not Yet. Still Reckless, Not Contrarian. [View article]
There is something that is not good about Vale, which is Vale is a government controlled company through government companies pension funds and BNDES (brazilian government development bank). Bradesco, Mitsui and individual investors have the balance. which is less than around 46-48% So although Brazil is not a socialist country, that is why there was a revolution back in 1964 to prevent that to happen, Brazil is at present being ruled by leftists and their policies are not helping the country to move forward at all anymore. See what happened to petrobras, share prices start to react only after recent surveys showing Mrs. Roussef losing support for forthcoming October presidential elections, nothing else has changed at Petrobras so far. The previous Vale´s CEO was removed after years of exceptional performance because he opposed Lula´s intentions of having Vale investing in steel production (Roussef was godfathered by Lula, as Lula coud not be re-elected after 2 terms). Conclusion both Vale and PBR are outstanding companies technically speaking but have been underperforming because of the submission to political decisions by the government. I beleve that brazilians are beginning to realize how much damage these people have caused so far to the future of the country.

  • The Oi & Portugal Telecom Merger: Stay Away! [View article]
Well it looks like the merger is definitively taking place already and should be finished by May. Share price did not change a bit from last oct levels, despite a temporary spike.
What are the odds now for the share price to hit 2.60 before the end of 2014?

Whenever the share price hit $ 6.00, what would be by them: market value, PE, EPS and EBITDA, in your calculations?

  • What Now For Amarin? [View article]
Mr. Where is the fire, answering your question, for sure not here. Vascepa is a good drug but neither outstanding or unique, so it is worth what is worth. perhaps if the company is sold, we could get 3.00 bucks a share....!!! I paid 7.50....so loss reduction as soon as possible, would be a honourable way out.....
