Congress' Handling of AIG Bonuses Is Shameful

Citing Alexander Hamilton's writings is a good idea because these papers were the foundation of our system of government. This system as it was defined has been totally destroyed by the irresponsible actions of many people over a long period of time. With freedom comes responsibility. It appears you think the individuals who received these exorbitant bonuses were in some way acting responsibly. If they were using good judgment and acting responsibly then their team certainly wasn't. Is there any evidence that those individuals receiving bonuses spoke up, or made a decision in some way to not support that team?
