Apple in the Bargain Bin

The lowering of margins is result of new products, thus need to recover development costs. Also this is season for back to school purchases which normally are the cheaper computers, thus lower margins. Apple did say they would be introducing a new product that the others could not compete with. This may mean something like the rumor of a computer with no keyboard, thus lower costs.
