The sad truth is that capital can't see past its nose, with notable exceptions. The rest of the heard will follow the squeals of the neo-Malthusian environmental left, that seem anti technological by their pig headed nature. And then their is the accumulation of institutional inertia by big government, that will act as a break to progress and enterprise. The short answer is, will get to it (maybe) when we have no choice !
