More Bad News for the Anti-Ethanol Crowd

Thanks AviGhandi for reminding me, & thanks Pretzel Logic for the rebuttal of AviG's comments. AviG is right, climate change is a fact. So what's new ? Didn't climate change wipe out the Old Kingdom of Egypt, ca. 3500 BC ? Didn't it destroy Mayan civilization too ? Maybe climate change has been well studied and documented for 50 years; does that mean global warming due to human action is a fact ? Belching zillions of tons of CO2 into the air probably doesn't do the atmosphere much good, but 30 years ago (when I was taking college courses) the teaching - and the consensus science - were that the climate problem was the coming next ice age. Find a textbook ("if you EVER read any") from the 1970's if you don't believe me ! Pretzel is right on (the money) saying that the grant money goes to the global warmers, those who "demonstrate" that mankind is the cause of climate change. After all, there's nothing anyone can do or should feel guilty about if the planet freezes over ! The race is on - can we poison our atmosphere before we all freeze ?

To echo the fellow in Thailand, I live in Bolivia, a nearly hopelessly impoverished 3rd world country, where, neverthelss, CNG is readily available and conversion kits are installed for less than $200. OK, so wages are low make that maybe $500 in the US. No reason other than bureaucracy and greed it can't be done in the US.
