Can Dubai Come Back?

Yes, there's lots to worry about in Dubai and the UAE, but I agree, it's far from being written off yet. There are still plenty of traffic jams to get stuck in, indicating not everyone has gone home. I disagree with your comment about Emaar trying to get taken over by Dubai Holding. Although information is typically opaque from Emaar, my feeling is that Emaar are likely to be a reluctant participant in the merger rather than the instigator.
