It’s too early to say if it’s a failure, but I actual liked the site on my first two tries. Needed to find documentations in the RF connector business and it provided me with better results than both Live Search and Google combined. The search for me worked, however it may yield different results or satisfactions for someone else with totally different search inquiry. The hype was that this was a Google killer, but of the postings/article I've read, no one from Cuil said this was the case.

Everyone is looking for high expectations from a new comer. Perhaps we should wait and see 6 months to a year and see where this leads. After all, the bar has been set so high after many years of Google being in the search business, compared to that for only the second day of Cuil's existence.
