Goldman Sachs well be the big money holder for the Cap and Trade bill, for all the carbon credit money that exchanges hands... that is why Goldman Sachs was to big to fail. Wait till the Commercial real estate fails ....... we have not seen the end of this yet. we will be looking at 12 to 15 % unemployment if not higher, We might even see it reach 20%. Did Lack of Regulation Create the Subprime Mortgage Crisis? [View article]
Right on Mr. Conerly! The Community Reinvestment Act needs to go away! Let the free market work. The Bail out is not for the American people but rather for Congressman Barney Frank and his cohorts. which they all need to go to prison for a long time. How many millions of dollars did they all make during the life of this train wreck waiting to happen?I would like an investigation done on this and I wants some answers?
I agree venividivici if this is such a great deal then let all the billionaires take up the slack,We see Warren Buffett got a great deal on Goldman Sach. Do you think this problem came from US government in the first place, making banks give more loans to people who could afford to buy home let alone have the credit score to get it a home. Look , would the government bail me out if I make bad decisions on my finances,I think not. I have lost over 75 % value in my stock portfolio then to top it off I have a AIG 457 fund, whats going to happen to that? I'm sitting in a bad spot right now ... I sure could use a million or two...... LOL

I really think this is a bad idea..... Companies took subprime risk and failed, You loose, Game out! Good day Sir!.... Whats next ? Can I get a bail out of my home fiances.... With the increase of energy, food,Gas I'm or the verge of going under myself. I'm told to suck it up and cut back, Drive less ,and turn up the thermostat . I think we have some bailing out to do from the family side first before we go giving 700 billion dollars to companies that made wrong investments.

Come on guys the ad is like Jerry Seinfeld show ,His shows were about nothing, really stupid stuff with Jerry Seinfeld stand up comedy. You know you watch the Seinfeld show and you think to yourself ....that was funny but it was about nothing... boring stuff that happens in everyone's life. And you can relate to it. His show were huge on the Network ratings And if Microsoft can get to that market that is great for them sales will go up ......The product does not matter. it could be selling dog s**t in a bag.... or ice to the Eskimos ,with the right ad campaign you can sell anything. Don't read into it . LOL!!!
The proverbial demise of GM the so called nail in the coffin is the rise in gas, but it goes further then that . The 15.5 Billion short fall in the first quarter in more then just a short fall in auto sales its all the Union buy outs and all that crap associated with the Union buy out that has cost this company its downward shock prices to hit 10 dollars a share .It is unfortunate that during the time they where dealing this this Union crap that the Housing market fell, gas prices went up, and in some states like Florida, Insurance prices went through the roof . Expendable income is at its low right now for the middle class and under.....
I heard this somewhere maybe here.???? "As GM goes so does America".... or something like that. The Big three use to be part of the GDP and I still think they reflect some sort of resemblance or tie to the GDP.
We do need to look head to Americas future.Gas will not last forever....True......B... I think Electric Battery problems and there solutions are about decade down the road.... so in the mean time. we need to drill and look at other energy sources.

Money, Money,Money is all they want with this Global warming and carbon Offset and taxes are going to kill us all.
