Hasbro Kills Scrabulous: Good or Bad?

The reason you wouldn't compensate them for their ingenuity is pretty much what you said...they infringed on copyrighted material. Also, just because they were not charging people for their application doesn't mean they were not making money off of it. From my understanding, advertisers pay a good amount of change to be able to advertise on high traffic facebook applications. My belief is that if you are making money off of someone else's copyrighted material, you should pay the price.
