Sirius Investors Face Difficult Decisions: It All Boils Down to Faith [View article]
I voted FOR current management not because I agree with everything they have done so far but because it's the only chance we have right now. They however, in my opinion, have NOT acted in the best interests of their small retail shareholders. They have proven to me they don't seem to care about us and how there actions have caused our shares to plunge. They should have had the merger financing prepared in advance of approval instead of accepting a last minute deal that have the short sellers what they wanted. I VOTED AGAINST DILLUTION OF SHARES AND AGAINST A REVERSE SPLIT. Anyone that has voted FOR these 2 actions is not well informed and should not be investing in this company because you don't know what the true affects will be. If a R/S happens your losses will be locked in and compounded after the short sellers feast on it and drive the stock price back down therefore making it impossible to ever get back your money unless SIRI reaches $150 / share which it will never do. SO cut the B.S and look at reality. Don't give current management the mandate to further harm us long term suffering investors who once had faith in SIRIUS and current management. If they want to save this company they need to get off their butts and do it the right way with a Bank financing deal that DOES NOT harm it's shareholders. MEL START THINKING OF YOUR DEVOTED SHAREHOLDERS THAT FUNDED AND BUILT THE COMPANY. SCREW THE HEDGE FUNDS YOU MADE A DEAL WITH. Stop screwing the little guys here. If SIRI can't pull it off I'd rather take my chances with delisting. A R/S would just be like a bankruptcy for long term shareholders that bought or have averages above $2. ENOUGH OF THIS B.S. GET THE STOCK PRICE BACK UP THERE AND DON'T SCREW THE SHAREHOLDERS. ENOUGH is ENOUGH!

Long term shareholders will get the royal shafting if there is a reverse split. IT WOULD NOT BE A GOOD THING!

I totally disagree with your analysis. You don't seem to realize that the Short Sellers will jump on SIRI immediately after a reverse split and drive the stock right down. A Reverse Split will wipe out long term investors especially those that bought well above $2 or $3. If SIRI does a 1:50 R/S these investors will never recover their losses because SIRI would have to go to $150 which will never happen. What is more likely to happen is the short sellers will rush in and short it back down under a dollar, it's like ringing the dinner bell especially an already heavily shorted stock like SIRI. If R/S occurs then long term investors will have their losses compounded and locked in PERMANANTELY. Anyone that has been investing or stock trading for a while know's this. Get real man.. wake up. A R/S is almost as bad a bankruptcy for long term investors. The stock price is this low and can't move up because a R/S is in the plans and long term investors are very fearful of buying more because of this potential poisen pill. You can't fool us by trying to promote a reverse split. We know it will wipe us out. Enough of this B.S. The facts are SIRIUS needs to complete a successful refinancing of their debt with little dillution, no reverse split and through regular bank financing. If their business model is strong as it appears to be and the synergies of the merger are truely being realized then it will be no problem. They need to get the stock over a dollar by their own merits. A R/S will not do it and will only dig themselves an even bigger hole when they completely lose all support from their long term shareholders which are also your clients. You burn them you hurt the company more then you think. WAKE UP.

You are completely wrong ! REVERSE SPLIT WILL WIPE OUT LONG TERM SHAREHOLDERS. Long term shareholders have bought at much higher PPS then it is today and if you reverse split you will lock in those losses for all these shareholders and completely lose their support both as investors and clients. The shorts will jump on this right after the reverse split and bash the price all the way down making it impossible for long term investors to ever get their money back. The price would have to go to $150 for a long whose average price was $3 pre split at a 1:50 ratio. SIRI will never reach $150 and these poor investors will essentially be wiped out. WAKE UP PEOPLE!. WE DO NOT WANT A REVERSE SPLIT Especially at these insane ratios of up to 1:50. ! That's crazy! If they reverse split a lot of LONG investors will turn into shorts to try and recoup their losses.
Sirius XM Radio May Be Considering Reverse Split? So What [View article]
In my opinion I strongly believe a reverse split would be the worst thing SIRIUS could do. This would immediately attract the shorts to short the price down to close to what it was before. This will hurt longterm investors that have already lost tremendous value in their stock price and this would compound those losses further and make it even harder to regain their previous value. It would continue to hurt investor perception of SIRIUS and have a definite negative impact on the company. We need the stock price to be increased naturally when investors see the value in this company. Their is tremendous value but the company needs to start showing us the money and what exact immediate cost cutting is going on. This stock is worth a hell of a lot more then 1.46.. come on.
