Viropharma has the option to back out completely if the fda doesn't approve and you didn't respond to my comment on the dollar amount you stated which was incorrect...please do your homework. Viro's management has been researching for years to find the right purchase and thier track record is perfect. I trust them and thier experts much much more than someone who just looks at press releases. Don't insult our intelligence.

You are ill informed and should read closely before you write your articles....If the deal doesn't turn out great Viropharma will only pay 443 million and the cash portion is in the 300 million dollar range with the rest in stock.If the deal flops they can back out of it totally. And there is a possibility that they will get both acute and proph. approval if the other company gets an unuproval letter from the FDA. In addition, the drug from LEV has advantages over the other competitive drug due to the half life of the drug and other factors and also the drug may have other ailments that it may be approved for and Lev has other compounds that they are working on that Viro will now own in addition to their staffof excellent scientists that will now be working with Viro...Do your homework and don't rush to post!!!!
