  • India Needs to Get Aggressive with Its Reserves [View article]
How do you know it is a peak? The peak is only known in retrospect. If gold goes to $1500, like some believe, $1090 is hardly a peak (let alone $1045 that they paid).

  • Questioning Baidu's SEC Filings  [View article]
Shorts are so righteous sometimes and have "valid" reasons for their arguments. As the stock prices go up, they keep to their thesis. What they fail to understand, stocks price in the future and not the present. Stocks go up (or down) based on information we do not know, but somehow the markets know. If you know information, everbody knoes it, and is already priced into the stock. That's why technicals are important. What the technicals (and fundamnetals) are telling is is that the future is bright for BIDU.

"easy money has been made" I see this all over the seeking alpha articles now. I did not see many articles BEFORE the easy money was made. All the way UP the articles were saying don't trust the rally, we will keep dropping etc. So how is it easy money?

  • We're Due for a Serious Pullback  [View article]
All you can do is follow the price and volume traits of a market. We are clearly in an uptrend now, and until that changes why fight the trend. No need to predict the market, just follow it. A good way to do that is by reading IBD. There are also other ways as well. Guessing ahead of time is a fool's game.

  • 7 ETFs to Short Right Now [View article]
Decay my ass. I bought TNA at 13. You do the math. Just broke out over 30. I will hold for the continued run to at least 39 ( I think). I may short then. Bought FAS a little over 7. Looks like it will also keep rising. Good luck on these shorts.

  • 5 Reasons Bank Shareholders Will Take a Hit [View article]
Go ahead, short the banks. You would have won today (if you were short at the end of the day yesterday) but you will lose. See where SKF opens today and compare that to where it is next wednesday at the open.

Sucker's rally? That what some seeking alpha authors have been writing since the market was up 10% off the bottom. I don't feel like a sucker given that I bought TNA and FAS in march and have made all the money that I lost in the last 1.5 years. As long as people believe this is a sucker's rally, we continuje to go higher. Your charts show a possible resting period at the gaps, if we hit those I will probably sell and buy back if we get a substantial pullback. Thanks for the help!

  • Overbought and a Little Less Bearish [View article]
This is what makes no sense to me. If you are sure the market will retest it's lows, you should be in a triple bear etf to clean up and make serious dough. You may say it will go up before it goes down. But who cares, that will still be some serious dough. Until you put your money where your mouth is, you are FOS.

  • Five Reasons Citi's Worth the Long Risk [View article]
Not too long ago a friend was bragging he bought C at $5. I thought what a great move since it was over $7 at the time he was bragging. Now under $2 he still owns it and hoping it appreciates X4 to get his money back. This "game" can be profitable if you guess the bottom, but if you miss you can get slaughtered.

How do you know Jeremy Siegel will bed wrong? If so, you should put everything in SKF. Your ETF letter will do amazing. The fact is nobody knows what will happen "in the long run"

I agree, but we live in the 2000's where people have no patience. When we get the new bull (who knows when?) everyone will jump in like there is no tomorrow.
