  • Cisco: In the Bargain Bin? [View article]
Not sure what KOOL has to do with CSCO, but i', long CSCO.
CSCO has considerable financial muscle at a great time. Interestingly they have just raised some cash despite having plenty, is it aquisition time?

The only negative with CSCO is the size of the company, its difficult to grow quickly when you're already huge.

If they successfully buy up any competition in this down market, they will be sitting pretty on the other side.

  • Cisco Beats Estimates, Gears Up for 'Technology War' [View article]
So constructe, what you are saying is that CSCO is a monopoly with a huge cash hoard that has loads of room to cut costs if it needs to. Exactly how is that bad for shareholders?
How is it unethical to use your cash to buy up the competition, sounds like good business practice to me.

What a load of cr*p. At the height of the tech boom CSCO was trading at a pe of 100, obviously unsustainable. Its fwd pe today is now under 10. I agree that Hershey will do well with lower commodity prices, but getting a $45 stock for $38 is hardly a bargain in this market.
