Financials and Housing: The Outlook Remains Ugly

excellent article. there are many people in my old home town of Boca Raton trying to sell their homes while at the same time trying to get peak prices. the result is nearly every other home is for sale and has been that way since 2005. many houses are sitting vacant and this is in one of the best neighborhoods in south florida. that can not be good news. part of the problem and a big part are the brokers who tell the sellers what they want to hear and are keeping the prices artificially high. it's not working.

Short Covering Helps Boost Stocks

excellent charting by the Bespoke Investment Group. Seems that in this, an election year, the Fed is more focused than ever on keeping the market as high as they possibly can. While I join them in keeping the green days rolling, I still have my doubts whether this will last more than a few short days. Regardless, taking my wife and dad out to dinner tonight and will enjoy this terrific day in the markets. Keep smiling and tomorrow will be another good one. Life is wonderful.
