  • Why I See Gold Headed For $880 [View article]
also the impact of interest rates, which would be minimal in comparison to prior historical rates, does not seem to translate to much inflation to the extent that a trigger like a war event, would occur. PMs are a form of insurance against such events..also, how does the future Yuan as world currency affect PM markets?

I get the price fixing scheme -- but what is the tipping point once generally presumed good economies stop the QE? WAR! We need another war to trigger a PM rally in the near future (ie. within the next 2 years). Wars always jump start economies...What I am suggesting here is that unless there is a trigger to put the brakes on the price fixing schemes, whether through QE shaninigans or repatriation attempts, the world markets could remain in standstill ranges for decades...innovative technology in nearly every industry is driving costs downward. Historical charts of the past do not necessarily correlate to future events.

  • A Few Developments That Could Improve The Fundamentals For The Iron Ore Market [View article]
It's a sensible strategy for Vale to pursue high grade ore only in line with demand expectations. But if supply of premium grade becomes constrained and priced too high too quickly, then Vale would lose its edge, yielding to mid-range graded ore producers namely, BHP and Rio. It would seem that understanding demand metrics would provide producers the proper direction as this article implies productions costs are relatively stable.

  • Gold Or Silver Wheaton: Which Is It? [View article]
I agree. Wheaton's hedge for an upcoming currency battle with a top heavy US dollar? Less convincing is springtime, gold buying season in Asia.

  • Silver Wheaton in $800M bought deal financing to acquire more gold stream [View news story]
I tend to agree with you on the gold:silver ratio -- Granted, there could be a short term increase in gold prices as Spring/Summer arrives, I still don't think this is a long term precious metal play for a streaming company. Though I suppose $800M is on the cheap for a Vale asset..

  • Apple's Dirty Little Rare Earth Secret: Follow-Up Points [View article]
I tend to agree -- China isn't as safe a bet -- Lynas Corp. is still dealing with environmental issues..while Molycorp could be a more likely candidate producer of specialty alloys sooner than Lynas, if the urgency comes to pass.

Ah but you have nicely admitted "too quick to fire" in a gentler way of words as you made further commentary. Just good to know you are more willing to wait for confirmation either way from within or reliable sources.

  • MeetMe Has This Investor Saying I Wish I Never Met You [View article]
Tinder sounds too much like Twitter -- At least MeetMe reflects more about what the company does -- it is a dating site, plain and simple and will typically draw attention. But no question, the company must achieve revenues that generate profit sooner than later as patience is wearing thin..
