Car Allowance Rebate System: Ford Bounces Back [View article]
You kill me Jimmy. You and some of these so called pundits still want to blame union health care for the sinking of the auto cos. I don't care what your bio says , you are one. By putting this b/s out there you fall right in line with the others trying to hand out wall street blinders to everyone that reads this crap. Tell the truth!!! Have you ever done a days work? I mean really other than cutting daddy's grass? You would not have lasted a day on the line. Yet you want to blame the guy on the line because he has health care. Don't blame the oil co's or wall street speculators like yourself, banks for their shit loans, and the 700 billion that they had to have with no accounting. What happend all your overseas co stocks starting to loose to cos like Ford that are making a come back by doing it right? And you can't even give them kudos for it. People don't be fooled by this guy. Invest in Ford and invest in AMERICA!!!

This is the foundation of your argument..? " The union had no real reason to see the car companies succeed. They just wanted their wages maintained, their pension fully funded and their healthcare.” To this i say my friend you are a moron. Why would i want the company i worked for for 33 yrs to fail ? Union wages and compnsation make up 10 % of their total cost. When they were making billions of dollars for years, it was not my decision on how to blow the money or what prouducts to come out with. All we did was put together what they give us together. Have your ever worked a line? Try it and then tell me what your worth to them. And this is the best you can come up with. No my friend and i use that loosely, you are the parasite here. Get a real job that you know even a tad about . Then again you are probably a non union worker eh..?

Thank you user 13799 for the response to this person. They have no clue really. How about the devalue of the Yen no one has talked about and let happen for years. Most people don't know that the two most expensive parts of the car are assembled in japan and sent over here to be put in on the line. Engine and trans make up the biggest cost of the car and the money stays there. They are taken care of in Japan while we have to fight for everything we've gotten over the many years. The tax break should go to the purchase of an AMERICAN company car. Where the money stays. I retired from FORD ( Hourly) after 32 years. And according to the auto pundits FORD is equal to or better in quality than Toyota or Honda now. So these people that say this crap haven't a arguement or that just plain bandwagon jealousness of people that work their asses off everyday and get a decent wage for it. We have a Baffoon thats been running the country for eight years now along with the rep majority for six of those years and have managed to ruin the middle class and bring the great country to the verge of depression in eight short years. When i seen John McCain drive away the day after the election in his brand new Toyota SUV Limited my blood was boiling. And he wanted to be President.

To jeffy , you are clueless. It's plain and simple. If oil as an example came down to 50 -60 bucks a can or $1. 75 to $2.00 at the pump, and thats where they should be i might add, they couldn't make cars or trucks fast enough. You have so called leadership in the white house, the Baffoon in charge, that cares more about making money for his friends and i might add himself, than he does for the people of the United States Of AMERICA. Period. And as far as the Unions are concerned, they have done more and gave more concessions than anytime in history to help the auto companys. They get it. You don't jeffy... Are you out of a job jeffy..? Keep buying non American.
