Bank Of America Is Subject To Short-Term Volatility [View article]
Thanks for showing your continued position in the B warrants. I also think they have a lot to offer for a long term position. They would be especially attractive if they again retreat to the low to mid 70's or did I miss my opportunity? Will see. Loaded and ready. Again, thanks for your comment.

Thanks MexCom. You presented an interesting prospective of the meet which was probably more interesting than the meet itself. I appreciate you sharing your comments as well as your summation of the meet.
Bank of America (BAC) is the stock to own in 2013, says Meredith Whitney, calling it one of the most undervalued firms going into the stress tests. It's got value, catalysts, and momentum, she says, a very rare triple threat for a big bank. $15/share is a chip shot and the stock's a double over the next 18 months, she tells CNBC. Shares +0.8% AH. [View news story]
Even the "thought" of being short with BAC is scary. Would like a few comments of the B Warrants from anyone with insight in such a position.

MexCom, I always look for your replies and I think your last sentence says it all. It is hard to place monetary value of this magnitude to many with similar responsibilities, but this guy has given results. Read your last sentence again. You are right on. Thanks for the last sentence. Looking for your replies in the future.
Bank Of America Could Raise Dividends, Though Revenue Growth Needed [View article]
Nice to see a positive article every once in a while. Supports my reasoning for my hold position as well as a possible increase in my monetary position. Thanks for your insight.
Bank of America (BAC) is tagged a "Tactical Trading Sell" by Guggenheim's Marty Mosby, who reasons the stock stands near the front of the line for those taking a hit should the economy get hurt by the fiscal cliff. Bullish on the stock longer term, Mosby says BofA could trade below $8 over the coming 3 months. [View news story]
I was thinking BAC could trade below $13 over the coming three months. On second thought, $8 is below $13. I also think we will meet the challenge of the upcoming "cliff" and, if so, above $12 might be good for the short term. Not much to base this on other than looking at the current position of BAC and it's relationship with the other financials and the market. I also believe that "too big to fail" is still an ace in the hole for BAC.
Bank Of America And The Fiscal Cliff [View article]
The article seemed contradictory within itself. I read it several times and still failed to get the true message. I guess one may assume the fiscal cliff is not good. Sorry, but appreciate the effort.
David Tepper's Appaloosa Management goes for the financials, opening about a $250M position in AIG, a $96M position in JPMorgan (JPM), and a $8M position in Morgan Stanley (MS). Also new in the portfolio are 10K call options on Hartford Financial (HIG). He upped his stake in Citigroup (C) by about 10% to $309M, and cut his stake in Bank of America (BAC) by nearly 30% to about $25M. The fund has about $25B AUM. (13-F) [View news story]
No doubt, BAC is more speculative than the other financials, but the rewards will outweigh the risks? I am still a believer--too big to fail. Again, most of this positioning relates to it's position concerning real estate.
In keeping with the terms of the national mortgage servicing settlement, Bank of America (BAC) says it has completed or approved of $15.8B in mortgage relief for 164K customers, including principal reductions totaling $4.75B for 30K loans. Updates from Wells Fargo and JPMorgan are expected today as well. (PR) [View news story]
I missed it the first time around, but do you have any reason as to "well, the move down has more to go"?, or is this your best guess?
It is hard for me to understand all the negative comments. You guys sure know something that I don't. Please share you insights concerning the poor (17%) performance during the past week. Surely BAC didn't surge as a result of the situation you present. Could this be a result of prudent investors (like ourselves) seeking a position in this upward market for the rewards you are about to receive, or are we so naive that we stare the gift horse in the mouth. If you think the situation is to good to be true, well, hang on to your hat because I believe we are in for a wild ride. Not a good time to buy? Or maybe not as good as the first of the year (at $6). Personally, I think it is still a good buy, and I think it will be for some time.
