  • Why Isn't Microsoft's Strategy Working Anymore?  [View article]
The most important strategy for Microsoft to adopt would be to get rid of Steve Ballmer. He is unequivocally among the worst CEOs in American history.

  • Microsoft Copping to $10 Million Seinfeld Mistake? [View article]
Bill Gates looked like such an "old man" in the shoe ad. I couldn't figure out what was the point of the ad. I didn't learn anything new about Microsoft. It seems like another Microsoft waste of money. Microsoft should take its ad budget and use it to pay dividends to shareholders.

  • Four Ways To Improve Microsoft [View article]
To improve Microsoft, first, Ballmer must be fired. He represents many years of failure. Second, the operating system should be spun off as a separate company whose primary purpose is to integrate with and enhance other software applications regardless of manufacturer. The remaining company would be able to innovate without the restriction of having to comply with the existing Microsoft operating systems.

The worse thing that happened to Microsoft was appealing the Federal District Court's decision ordering Microsoft's dismantal.

  • Ballmer on Newspapers: Wrong Again [View article]

  • What It Would Take To Fix Microsoft For Me [View article]
Any thinking investor should realize that Microsoft has not generated any major new technology product in many years. It merely copies others or buys its way into technology where it is already late to the party. Microsoft should be broken up. The result would be innnovation and more innovation. The first step would be to get rid of Ballmer. I simply cannot figure out why this has not yet happened.

  • Is Microsoft Drinking Google's Maps Milkshake? [View article]
Once again Microsoft copies or steals from others rather than being the first to come up with an idea. So much for Microsoft innovation.

  • Yahoo to Microsoft: Increase Your Offer or Get Lost [View article]
Ballmer paying a lot of money for a company that is not making a lot of money. There is no logic in this. Microsoft shareholders would be better of with a dividend in the amount Ballmer will waste on Yahoo. Ballmer must go!

  • Where Microsoft and Yahoo! Can Beat Google [View article]
I believe your opinion is correct. However, the reason Microsoft wishes to purchase Yahoo is to compete in search. Microsoft already has a search function. Adding Yahoo won't add much to its capability. Ballmer is spending money that could be distributed to shareholders whose stock has gone nowhere for quite some time.

  • Microsoft/Yahoo Deal: It's Time to Get Serious, Steve [View article]
Sorry, but I meant to say: If Microsoft was properly run, it would NOT need to buy Yahoo.

I don't see an edit function for posts.

  • Microsoft/Yahoo Deal: It's Time to Get Serious, Steve [View article]
I fail to see why investors cannot get rid of Steve Ballmer. Microsoft is customarily the last to engage in innovation and it seems to have to copy or steal from other companies to catch up. If Microsoft was properly run, it would need to buy Yahoo.
