face it. most of these toys are just high technology looking for a purpose. most of this junk is like daytime tv. the technology is wonderful but the content is garbage. thank god as a young person i didn't walk around all day stoned on music plugged into my ear.

I'm in California and own 3 homes free and clear (you never actually own them-----you manage them for Fed, state and county). Now I've gone on realtor.com and craigslist and looked at pictures and prices of thousands of homes all over the nation. I did this to consider a better deal elswhere for my investment. Frankly, I've found no real bargains anywhere after all things are considered.
All this technical analysis stuff is gobble-d-gook. The bottom line is they stole the life savings of Americans by taking the return on the aggretate savings (CD's, T-bills, bonds, etc) from a nominal to a negative value for the past 7 years. This confiscated purchasing power was passed to spenders and speculators and caused inflation and retirement wipe outs to those who worked for decades and saved for retirement. The entire economy is a giant ponzi scheme run by these people.

There are actually two markets in action. There are those who are in the traditional financial position to buy and those in the traditional position WHEN they bought (4 to 50 years ago). These people are not interested in the foreclosure garbage and are not even looking. Then there is the all hype market consisting of speculators, deadbeats and con's both in the realty industry and lending institutions and wall street. These are getting all the press. They have their own dogfight to work out. The rest of us (majority in California) don't care.

It would help and be fair if the governor demanded a return of all real estate commissiones paid by people in foreclosure. Realtors had just as much influence on sucking in poor buyers as banks did.
Some will starve. The fat will finally lose weight. Crime will soar. Nothing can be trusted. Coffe and toilet paper will be way more valuable than gold. Cities will be snarling pit bull arenas. Best to be in the country on 3 acres with fruit trees in a mild climate and no kids to support.
