Unions made it impossible to compete globally, teachers unions make it impsssible to fire incompetent teachers, and kids are soft with the thought that no one shold win or lose, we have lost our competitive tradition and have been resting our our collective laurels. A good hard recession or depression may be what it takes to slap some sense back into America.
