Our arrogant belief that we will always be the greatest country without work is how we got here. Unions made it impossible to compete globally, teachers unions make it impsssible to fire incompetent teachers, and kids are soft with the thought that no one shold win or lose, we have lost our competitive tradition and have been resting our our collective laurels. A good hard recession or depression may be what it takes to slap some sense back into America.

I grew up in Flint Michigan and saw first hand how lazy ass auto workers and a currupt unions failed the workers, the city, the state and the country by not allowing new technologys to be used while making it almost impossible to fire workers who were not effecient. Taxes and unions drove jobs overseas and looks like we havent learned a thing.
