Government Plans Won't Work, But Banks Are Worth Buying Anyway

Don't we have a Partial Nationalization of the Banks going on right now, no matter how the government/congress is disguising it. Last I heard, common stock was proportional ownership. Preferred shares is money off the top before the common share owners with the right for conversion to more ownership via common shares. Who is kidding who on the government not nationalizing the banks. This is first step. IMHO, if I own 51% of the shares in the bank, I control the bank. Perhaps this indirect Nationalization of the Bamks is paving the way for the government to have a steady stream of income in the future.
