Armed for Battle: First Solar vs. SunPower vs. Suntech

I've always like First Solar. I think they can and will make the cheapest solar panels. Playing catch up, like most these companies will do, is a hard game. FSLR is not even close to what it used to be, but with Obama pushing alt energy initiatives I really think this company has a lot of room to grow. Investors are really confident-sentiment has been extremeley bullish (www.predictwallstreet....) the past few days and has seen a majority of bullish sentiment in the past month.

I don't know FSLR has been pretty hyped but it may be for good reason, although there has been some risk of oversupply in this industry as of late. Sentiment was pretty bullish (predictwallstreet.com/...) but is beginning to fall. I think alt.energy has sort of taken a backseat right now as the economy needs to become a little more stable for people to want to highly invest in this industry again.

First Solar and Solarfun May Defy Short-Term Weakness in Solar Sector

I have always felt FSLR is one of the strongest solar power companies. A lot of people jumped on the alternative energy bandwagon awhile ago which really drug FSLR down, but I think it will be making a comeback. The business is too strong not too. FSLR has an UP forecast today (www.predictwallstreet....) and I too have predicted them to close up. Sentiment is becoming increasingly bullish.
