Isnt "GOOG always a good buy?" Ha ha. Their stock charts may not be compelling but its obvious without them that GOOG will never grow at the rates it did before because it's already infiltrated its market. They may be overpriced if you are looking for dividends. But I do think they are at a reasonable price right now. They will never see the 700's again but sentiment is strong and investors are always confident (www.predictwallstreet....) in Google's ability. After the economy calms down, Google should be back on track.
Sentiment is becoming pretty bearish (www.predictwallstreet....). Think they're gonna hit 330 pretty soon. Market needs to cool off for a few days following Obama's speech, everything is pretty volatile right now.
sounds like a good candidate, what the really need is a new business plan. maybe he's the guy to bring one. looks like investors are excited for what lies in the future for yahoo. pretty bullish today (predictwallstreet.com/...)
Right. Palm did nothing to keep up with the innovative smart phone market. Its a moving market, and if your company isn't progressing with it of course you're going to lose. Sentiment is bearish for this company (predictwallstreet.com/...) not surprisingly. Consumers don't care about Palm when they have iPhones and Blackberry's to choose from. As long as sentiment stays down, it's gonna keep the price bogged down with it.
GOOG is defintley not cheap right now, but is it really the expensive, all things considered? If time is on your side, I think GOOG is a good buy. Today has been rough for them as the price continues to drop, but sentiment seems to be getting stronger (predictwallstreet.com/...) indicating that perhaps the price will follow after this rocky Monday. Of course, stop losses are always a good idea :0
Should Apple Consider Buying Yahoo!? [View article]
Hmm I doubt Apple would ever buy Yahoo! but I do believe that Yahoo! is a diamond in the rough and I definitely think it has potential under the right management. Even though Yahoo!'s price has dropped steadily, there are the few that have remained bullish about the company. 64% of users (www.predictwallstreet....) think Yahoo! will close up and sentiment is slowly becoming more bullish for the company. Once the economy turns up, I think Yahoo! will have more of a chance.
I definitely think GOOG is at a tempting price but after looking at one month sentiment www.predictwallstreet.... you can see it's becoming even more bearish and I feel the price could drop even more. I think it could be a good idea to wait a little longer on this one.
Buy, Sell or Hold: Apple's Cohesive Strategy to Survive and Thrive [View article]
The beginning of your article makes me want to not even read the rest of your article, for surely someone who thinks Apple products are "restricted to kids in affluent zip codes" is someone I'd rather not hear stock advice from. But at least you spent a few paragraphs outlining literally the most stereotypical and mundane "Apple vs PC" facts that clearly anyone on Seeking Alpha would be unaware of, so thank you. But this morning, while I was also sailing on my yacht listening to my iPod checking SA, I too came to the brilliant conclusion that Apple is indeed a bargain! After hours of technical, fundamental, and hard thinking analysis, this terribly complicated conclusion was finally reached. I'm glad we can agree on that. I hope all those poor kids on there PC's in high crime neighborhoods and less affluent zip codes are able to find your article as helpful as I did.
Yahoo Shares Rise, But for How Long? [View article]
I'm unsure as to why YHOO share shot up after this news. Even if they do try to crawl back to MSFT, do we even know if MSFT wants them anymore? Sentiment is suprisingly becoming more bullish too (www.predictwallstreet....) even though YHOO is all alone now to fend for themselves. Doesn't make any sense.
Big Money Managers Are Cautiously Bullish - Barron's [View article]
Sentiment for DJIA, NADSAQ and SP500 are all bullish right now. I always check the sentiment meter at www.predictwallstreet.... because its updated so often. They also have sentiment charts for each specific security. And if anything, Apple is undervalue. They are one of the only companies who has remained strong throughout all this market mess. Although sentiment right now for APPL appears to be becoming more bearish.
Motorola's Android Phone: Too Little Too Late? [View article]
I would be curious to see a MOT smartphone. In my history of cell phones I have always gravitated more to MOT phones as I have found them to be the more reliable for me. I think this could be a good venture for the company, there already forecasted to close up today and a new product could help bring MOT back some limelight.

Ironically your are giving advice about stocks (or at least picking them). Haha, but thank you for the simply stated article. Too many articles try to complicate this matter and its all so confusing. Sometimes things just need to be laid out plain and simple like this. I think understanding what a company does exactly is so crucial. I've found that companies who make products I can touch, I'm actually more in tune with.
Can Anything Displace the iPhone in Consumer's Eyes? [View article]
Good point, Apple Heavy. The iPhone has remained in the postion it has because it has no other competitors.....from Apple. What's the point on spending $500 on a new Blackberry when in the next 6 months they'll just release a newer version. It almost seems like a rat race within itself. In that sense, the appeal to the iPhone is obvious in the sense that you won't have to worry about Apple outdoing you anytime soon.
