Throwing Good Money after Bad at Yahoo [View article]
Despite me wanting to believe these rumors are pure fiction, Icahn loading up on shares seems indicative of something. Sentiment became bullish this week (predictwallstreet.com/...) so obviously investors are feeling optimistic about YHOO finally, but whether they can forge this deal remains to be seen. If YHOO blows it again, I can't imagine where they will be.

I think the MSFT deal remains to be seen, we havent had any inclination MSFT is still even interested. Irregardless, at least the company can head in a new direction now. Sentiment shot up for them this morning on the Yang news (predictwallstreet.com/...) and I think YHOO will be able to ride this out till at least the end of the week.

Either way, Yahoo! needs something to help them out before they reach single digits. YHOO has been forecasted to close up today (www.predictwallstreet....) and sentiment recently took a small upward turn. Right now I think this company's focus should be on sealing a deal and sustainability of the company.
So glad RIMM finally released its Storm release date. They defintley needed this before the holiday season. Sentiment has become more bullish for the company (www.predictwallstreet....) despite there early morning price dip. I predict up for the company today.
Yahoo Shares Rise, But for How Long? [View article]
I'm unsure as to why YHOO share shot up after this news. Even if they do try to crawl back to MSFT, do we even know if MSFT wants them anymore? Sentiment is suprisingly becoming more bullish too (www.predictwallstreet....) even though YHOO is all alone now to fend for themselves. Doesn't make any sense.
Apple-Microsoft Ad Wars Heat Up Again [View article]
I love both the Apple's and MSFT's ad's. Its most entertaining the actual competition more so than anything. It's essentially gossip girl for the computer kids.

Ironically your are giving advice about stocks (or at least picking them). Haha, but thank you for the simply stated article. Too many articles try to complicate this matter and its all so confusing. Sometimes things just need to be laid out plain and simple like this. I think understanding what a company does exactly is so crucial. I've found that companies who make products I can touch, I'm actually more in tune with.
The Google Phone: Blockbuster or Bust? [View article]
I don't think there trying to directly compete with the iPhone either, although consumers will probably put it in that space. It seems to me like Google is just looking for more ways to infiltrate every way people use the internet-ad exposure. It was only a matter of time before they moved to takeover some sort of mobile channel.

Theres just not way I could tolerate looking at 6 inch screen trying to get my internet fix. The connectivity would be nice in emergency situations, but other than that, I find it almost more work to use any sort of phone with internet on it than to wait till I get home to use my laptop.
